Studio render of a gyroid lattice sphere

Work

We design objects across scales and materials, from mineral surfaces to repairable product families, and let natural processes shape them.

Who we are

We are a design studio advancing the meeting of top-down computational design with bottom-up natural growth. We bring together parametric design, material research and production knowledge.

We do not set the form alone. We define conditions such as pressure, temperature, light, time and the behavior of the material itself, and watch the object emerge from them.

Our model

We work along three axes. Growth asks whether an object can be grown rather than drawn. Perception asks whether a material can feel like the opposite of what it is. Lifespan asks whether an object made with little material can last a lifetime through repair.

Our aim is objects that sit close to art, yet can be produced industrially, customized and repaired. Enter the project pages to learn more.

Research lines

Every project begins as a line of research and a single question. These are the lines we are working on now. Each is documented as it develops, and its status is stated honestly.
